DG Doing More Launch – Slosh Challenge
To celebrate the launch of our DG Doing More campaign we’re inviting you to take part in our workplace #StaffSlosh challenge with your colleagues, or our #CommunitySlosh challenge at your local sports club, community class/group or with friends. Spot prizes will be awarded to groups who share their photos and videos.
Thank you to the fantastic group from Lochfoot who have provided a great #CommunitySlosh demonstration in the video below.
Staff from Wallace Hall Primary School have also been practicing for the #StaffSlosh challenge!
Tips for sharing your photos/videos
If sharing please remember to tag @activecommunitiesdg and use #DGDoingMore and #StaffSlosh or #CommunitySlosh. We will share as many of these as we can and will present DG Doing More merchandise to the stars of the most inspiring photos and videos.
DG Doing More Launch – Chalkstacle Course Challenge
For those of you who don’t want to take part in our #StaffSlosh or #CommunitySlosh challenge, or those who want to do a bit more, we have a second launch week challenge…
We are asking workplaces and schools to create chalk obstacle courses on the ground outside their premises, encouraging service users/staff/parents to complete the course as they pass. Springfield Primary have put together a superb video to show you exactly what you need to do.
If you’re at a school why not ask your playleaders to create the course near the school gate and parents can take part as they wait to pick up their children from school, or if you work in an office why not set up a course near the entrance and encourage your colleagues to have a shot on the way in and out of the building. You can find ideas for your course designs here.
Don’t forget to write #DGDoingMore next to the course! We will also be awarding spot prizes to some of the people or groups who set up and/or take part in the courses, so don’t forget to share your photos/videos! #DGDoingMore #ChalkstacleCourse
Prizes
Prizes may include DG Doing More branded water bottles, shopping bags, snoods and pens
